The world’s first stamped saucepan was created in our factory in Fesches-le-Châtel in 1826. Two centuries later, CRISTEL decided to pay tribute to this historic product, drawing inspiration from it to create its new collection, symbolically named 1826.
This new collection is inspired by the past and firmly rooted in modernity, thanks to the innovation and passion of the men and women who have worked here over the years.
These stainless steel saucepans, with their tapered design, are crafted to reflect this two-hundred-year-old antique cookware.
With a heat-diffusing base made up of three superimposed layers (induction stainless steel - aluminium - 18/10 stainless steel), compatible with all burners including induction, they guarantee even heat distribution for easy cooking.
Their 18/10 stainless steel body ensures good temperature retention when serving food, while their shape makes for compact storage as they can be stacked one on top of the other, saving space in your kitchen.
The firmly-riveted, polished stainless steel handle adds a touch of elegance in contrast to the brushed finish of the body of this cookware. Ergonomic and heat-resistant, the handle is designed not to heat up on induction or glass-ceramic hobs, ensuring a secure grip with no risk of burns.
