PASTA “A LA FORESTIERE”
Ingredients
- 12 oz Tagliatelle
- 2 minced shallots
- ½ lb mushrooms
- 4 oz diced bacon
- ½ cup white wine
- ¾ cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper
Recipe
1 Cook tagliatelles in salted boiling water for 8 to 9 minutes.
2 Heat the pan at ⅔ of the maximum power of the stove, add olive oil and shallots.
3 Cook for 2 minutes, add the bacon.
4 Once the bacon is crisp, add mushrooms and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
5 Deglaze with white wine, add the cream and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
6 Pour the mushroom sauce on tagliatelles and serve immediately.
Tip : For a vegetarian meal, substitute cream with soja cream and bacon with tofu.
